Two letters written by Jane G. Barber, probably of Westerly, Rhode Island, to her parents, describing her experiences at sea. Along with her husband, William, she sailed from New York to Galveston aboard the Ship OCEAN EAGLE. She also describes a passage from New York to Saint Marks, which includes her description of the crew.
